I have the honour to transmit to you a letter I received at 11.45 am to-day, from Dr Wharry, Superintendent of the Civil Hospital, relative to your communication regarding the medico-legal work of Dr Marques. I have attached thereto a copy of the reply and forwarded it to Dr Wharry at 6.30 pm yesterday (6th November) and marked "Urgent."

You will see from Dr Wharry's letter that he still refuses to do the work. Under the circumstances, I have had considerable trouble on my hands.
